\"\"<\/a>This pandemic of 2020 has put a huge dint in our lives – restricting our ability to gather, to travel, and to feel safe and at ease in the world.<\/p>\n

I look forward to a time when once again we will feel free to roam and engage with confidence.<\/p>\n

Until then, it seems we\u2019re destined to gaze longingly through our respective windows on the world, sustained by patience and hope.<\/p>\n

To help us get through this final month of what seems like a very long year, I\u2019ve created 31 original paintings in a series called, Glimmers of Hope<\/strong>. Each image peeks through a window at the positive feelings and exciting adventures that we hope will once again be ours to experience – hopefully sooner rather than later!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The colors of the window walls and the scenes they frame all vary; but each image features a shiny, round iridescent \u2018glimmer of hope\u2019 that does in fact sparkle with possibility<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The 5\u201d x 5\u201d paintings are watercolor on paper mounted on 6\u201d x 6\u201d mat boards. They can be displayed as is, or you may choose to re-mat and frame them in some other way.<\/p>\n

The one-of-a-kind paintings are priced at a very reasonable $50 Cdn (plus $5 to cover tax & postage). These gems are perfect as a gift for yourself, or as a way to instill hope in the lives of friends, colleagues and family members<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

If you would like your work of art sent directly to someone else, I\u2019d be happy to include a gift note on your behalf.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Each day throughout the month of December, one new painting in the Glimmer of Hope series will be released<\/strong>. They will be posted to my Facebook and Instagram pages as well as here on my blog on the Pauseworks Studio website.<\/p>\n

The first person to send an email my way (to pat@patkatz.com<\/a>) claiming each painting will be the successful purchaser<\/strong>. Payment can be made by e-transfer (preferred), credit card, or cheque.<\/p>\n
