\"\"<\/a>I would tell you that I\u2019ve dipped my toe in the waters of virtual delivery of art classes, but in fact the experience was more like being thrown in the deep end of the pool!<\/p>\n

The good news is that I survived, enjoyed it, and will be diving in again later this fall.<\/p>\n

This spring, the University of Sask Community Arts program asked me if I would teach a virtual Watercolor summer class.<\/p>\n

I agreed to offer a five class series in July titled Sketching With Ink & Watercolor<\/em>; and I delivered it via zoom to eight eager, energetic and enthusiastic students.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>It was a TON of work preparing to facilitate this program.<\/p>\n

I had to figure out not only the content, but also the technical end of things – linking phone for demo with desktop computer for the theory and conversational end of the class.<\/p>\n

Once the class was announced, before I could even turn around and let people know that the class registration had gone live, the session was already full.<\/p>\n

And when I agreed to deliver a repeat of the session later this fall, the same thing happened again. The November 2021 class was fully registered in less than 24 hours.<\/p>\n
