MUDSLINGERS GARDEN GALLERY – AUGUST 2016

Ten years ago, we opened our garden on O’Brien to host a fine group of artisans known as the Mudslingers in presenting their very first Garden Gallery. The idea was to display fine art and crafts – mostly pottery – in a natural setting, with the greens of the garden providing the backdrop.
The event was a great success, and the group has continued this annual tradition of staging an outdoor show. I’ve taken part as a guest artist in the past and will be doing so again this year.
The 2016 Garden Gallery date is just around the corner. This year’s event will be held on Thursday, August 18th from Noon to 7 pm in the beautiful gardens at 2422 Clarence Avenue S here in Saskatoon.
You’ll find pottery and glass works by Betty Gibbon, Paula Cooley, Ken Wilkinson, Diane Koshgarian, Lorraine Sutter and Roxanne Enns, as well as a selection of my watercolor paintings and abstract sculptures by another guest artist, Les Potter.

The event takes place – rain or shine. We are of course, hoping for sunny weather – and we’re also hoping that you will drop by and join us for the show.
