Launching ‘Glimmers Of Hope’ Art Series

This pandemic of 2020 has put a huge dint in our lives – restricting our ability to gather, to travel, and to feel safe and at ease in the world.

I look forward to a time when once again we will feel free to roam and engage with confidence.

Until then, it seems we’re destined to gaze longingly through our respective windows on the world, sustained by patience and hope.

To help us get through this final month of what seems like a very long year, I’ve created 31 original paintings in a series called, Glimmers of Hope. Each image peeks through a window at the positive feelings and exciting adventures that we hope will once again be ours to experience – hopefully sooner rather than later!

The colors of the window walls and the scenes they frame all vary; but each image features a shiny, round iridescent ‘glimmer of hope’ that does in fact sparkle with possibility.

The 5” x 5” paintings are watercolor on paper mounted on 6” x 6” mat boards. They can be displayed as is, or you may choose to re-mat and frame them in some other way.

The one-of-a-kind paintings are priced at a very reasonable $50 Cdn (plus $5 to cover tax & postage). These gems are perfect as a gift for yourself, or as a way to instill hope in the lives of friends, colleagues and family members.

Each day throughout the month of December, one new painting in the Glimmer of Hope series will be released. They will be posted to my Facebook and Instagram pages as well as here on my blog on the Pauseworks Studio website.

The first person to send an email my way (to pat@patkatz.com) claiming each painting will be the successful purchaser. Payment can be made by e-transfer (preferred), credit card, or cheque.

I hope you enjoy admiring and acquiring these Glimmers of Hope as much as I enjoyed creating them.
