Next Week: Artists’ Workshop 2025 Spring Show & Sale

In just over a week, our Artists’ Workshop group will throw open the doors and share an enthusiastic welcome to our 2025 Spring Show & Sale.  This is your personal invitation to join us to enjoy all of the brand-new original works we’ve been creating.

The event will be held at Grace-Westminster Church (505 10^th St E in Saskatoon):

• Friday, April 25 (5-9)
• Saturday, April 26 (10-5)
• Sunday, April 27 (11-4).

‘The Inside Story’ is our theme for 2025. Unique to this year’s show will be a set of 12×12 works featuring ten different points of view around the ‘Inside Story’ theme.

I’ll be presenting my work under several different themes:

• Travel Sketches
• Figurative Characters
• Whimsical Village Scenes

Half of my works are presented in the traditional way – matted, and framed under glass. The other half of my works were created on watercolor paper and are mounted on gallery cradle board with a varnish and wax finish – no glass required.

At the show, you’ll also find original works created by: Celeste Dumonceaux Delahey, Jean Dudley, Kathleen Slavin, Anne Simmie, Val Miles, Wendy McLeod, Paige Mortenson, Sharron Schoenfeld, and Leslie Stadnichuk.

We create in a variety of media: oil, watercolor, mixed media, ink and watercolor, pastels, and watercolor batik.

To whet your appetite, you’ll see above a sampler featuring one image from each of our member artists. To see more of the artworks that I will be bringing to the show, check out my Facebook and Instagram feeds in the days leading up to the event.
