Local Color is #15 in my Glimmers of Hope Art Series.

Colorful homes exist in many places in the world – from St John’s, Canada to the Cinque Terre and Burano in Italy, to Willemstad in Curacao, to Villajoyosa, Spain. This particular image is inspired by Porto in Portugal.

It was inspired by a sail around Halifax harbor on our New England Maritime cruise.

I’m reminded of how much I love big ships and the open sea.
