For the second year in a row, I’m excited that three of my paintings are on display as part of the Member’s Show and Sale at the Humboldt Art Gallery in Humboldt, Saskatchewan – just 150 kilometers east of Saskatoon.
My pieces have a definite country theme and feel to them – abandoned buildings and old trucks.
All three are watercolor on paper, mounted on boards, and varnished with a smooth wax finish so they don’t need to be protected with glass.
The show opened on September 9th and continues until October 30th.
A wide variety of artworks are featured including: paintings, photography, ceramics, and mixed media works.
With over 30 participating artists and 68 works of art, there is something for everyone!
The gallery is open from Tuesday through Saturday between the hours of 1:00 and 5:00 pm. It’s a beautiful gallery space located right on Humboldt’s Main Street.
And it’s well worth a visit – especially if you are feeling the pull of a little road trip that gets you out in the country on these beautiful autumn days.
