Simple Pleasures Show & Sale – Your Invitation

It’s just 7 days until the first day of spring. To celebrate the change of the season, I’m inviting you to join me at the Simple Pleasures – Small Treasures Art Show & Sale on the afternoon of Sunday, March 20th between 2:00 and 4:00 pm at 315 O’Brien Place in Saskatoon.

What Will You Find At The Show?

• A series of 25+ 5×5 original ink & watercolor sketches in 6×6 stand up frames. They’re intended to sit on your bookshelf, side table or the corner of your desk or counter – & that’s exactly how you’ll find them displayed during the show.

Why This Theme?

• A lot of attention & energy is directed towards life’s big deals & grand adventures.
• It’s easy to overlook the simple pleasures to be found in the everyday events of our lives. These images remind us that small things can bring great joy.

What’s A Simple Pleasure?

• It’s an everyday experience that lifts your spirit & warms your heart.
• A fine cup of coffee, a blazing fire, a good book, fresh flowers, a friendly visit, a morning walk, & more.

Why March 20^th?

• It’s the first day of spring – a time to celebrate beauty, fresh energy & new life.
• It’s also a perfectly timed offering if you’re looking for lo-cal (& local) Easter treats for yourself or others.

Why Small Treasures?

• Many people who collect original art tell me their walls are full, but their desire to acquire still burns strong.
• Most of us can find a corner in our lives for something small, new and affordable that delivers a spark of joy.

What These Are & What They’re Not

• They’re NOT serious expensive works of art destined to hang with Mona Lisa in the Louvre.
• They ARE light-hearted, playful, affordable vignettes ($70 each plus taxes) intended to grace the corners of your home or office.

Anything Else?

• Yes, indeedy! Because it’s the first day of spring, we’ll be serving lemonade with sweet treats on the side.
• You’ll also find a welcoming smile, door prizes, more Pauseworks art, & a chance to visit the studio where these gems were created.

Can’t Join Us In Person?

• Fear not. Join in from wherever you are.
• On March 16^th, the Virtual Gallery of 20 of the images from the show was opened for viewing.
• From the 16^th until the end of the March 20^th show hours, you can indicate via email (to: pat@patkatzart.com) which image(s) you’d like to purchase. Here’s the link to instructions for How to Make A Purchase From The Virtual Gallery.
• Between 2:00 and 4:00 pm on the 20^th, our sales coordinator will be accepting email offers interspersed at regular intervals between purchases from buyers who are present at the show.
